Trials and Destitution

Two Thousand-Twenty-Three years ago,
Or, perhaps, one or two years less,
Jesus was born in manger, and stole the Show,
Immanuel (God With us) came to clean the Mess.

God’s People, crying, Freedom remove the Blight,
Of being Subject to Nero, and Roman Legion,
Being Ruled, and Taxed, without any Right,
To Petition, Relief, in any of God’s Region.

Yahuah/GOD, of Hebrew, and Jew,
Disgusted with behavior of His People,
Let them Fail, for ‘Not being True,’
‘Punished, for forgetting their Nuptial.’

They had accepted God’s Covenant,
Through Moses, at Foot of Mount Sinai,
After Centuries, of Egyptian Abasement,
God, led them away, with Cloud in Sky.

God’s Voice, made them feel they had died,
So, Loud, and Strong, it beat on their Ear,
‘Save us from God,’ to Moses, they cried,
‘Listen, and tell us,’ and he did to their Cheer.

Israel, knew the need for ‘Formal Covenant,’
Yet, without Contract, they accepted, God’s Offer,
Moses went Up, to Receive Laws, Commanding,
Forty Days Later, Resolve waned, due to Scoffer.

Aaron, bamboozled, into building Golden Calf,
So, the people could have something for Homage,
‘Made by Man,’ an Idol, to be God’s Allograph,
Should Moses Fail, ’likened to a god made, in Bondage.’

For over Three Thousand Years, Faithful and NOT,
Israel suffered, Many Trials, and Destitution,
Prophecy states, Transgressions would be Caught,
And Pit-Falls of Punishment, until ‘Transformation.’

One Hundred-Twenty Jubilees, now, are ending,
This Year, ‘Five-Seven-Seven-Seven,’ in Counting,
Near the Time, World attacks, with God, Defending,
Shortly after, Immanuel/Jesus, Calls Church, for Ascending.
