Application of Expectation

Merry Christmas, upon the Shelf,
Was, for Decades, in the 'Dust,'
Except for Bearded man, and Elf,
Selling toys, that Break, or Rust.

Today, those Words, are Dusted off,
And, Resounding, through the Air,
Bright and Cheery, as if a Quaff,
Heart Lifting Brew, Beyond Compare.

On the 'Shelf,' it was, much more like 'Water,'
Necessary for life, and much Profit, and Gain,
Like a child, being Raised, Son, or Daughter,
Never knowing the Reason, for their Name.

It took an Election, to Dust off this Refraining,
To revive, its Attitude, of 'True Godly Activity,'
From, 'Holiday,' to its 'Given', that's 'Self-Explaining,'
'Christ for Christ,' and 'Mas', for 'Mass/or/Nativity.'

Ironic, the thought, that Chanukah and Christmas,
Be, on the Same Day, this year 'Five Triple-Seven,'
Of Jubilee Year, One Hundred Twenty, and, Last,
God, gave to Noah, (before Earth becomes Heaven).

If, a Change would be Right, for Season, to Employ,
Perhaps, we should say Merry-Re-Christmas to All,
Then, we be voicing, Expectation, to Fully Enjoy,
This, Last Scene, of Satanic Tree, to Finally FALL.

Witness, Jesus, to all, who will hear your Refrain,
Of, MERRY CHRISTMAS, in God/Jesus' NAME,
Perhaps we can AWAKEN the SLEEPING, 'Masses,'
Before He, Snatches Us, and World knows, 'HE CAME.'

AMEN
