New Card Game in Town

Soon there be a new President,
Perhaps the Last name be 'Trump,'
Let us have a Card Game, Precedent,
The Reverse of 'Penuckle,' call it 'Trump.'

The object is, play the 'Trump-cards,'
In a special way, to Count, and Win,
Trump, can't lead, when holding, 'Shards,' (other suits)
Only, when not holding led suit, can Trump, 'Pin.'

Only Non-Trump leads, for any 'Stick of Trick,' (Non-Trump lead card)
Trump, must be played, if Stick-Suit can't be Followed,
If, holding, only Trump, must pass, the 'Trick-Stick,' (Non-Trump lead)
'Sloughing' of Other-Suit Cards, only if Trump is 'Swallowed.' (Not held)

Trump card on top, of each Trick, taken, as a 'Board,'
Face up, so all players can see what's been played,
Taking a Trick, without Trump, is called a 'Hoard,' (Greed)
Penalty doubles on those taken in suit, Parlayed. (offered by Trick-Stick)

First player, out of Cards in hand, earns a Plus-Twenty,
Ace, King, Queen, of Trump, plus Fifteen, other, negative Ten,
Jack, Ten, Nine, of Trump, plus Ten, other, negative Five,
Each Board, with Trump, plus Ten, other, no Trump, negative Ten.

Double Deck, is needed for the Four, Partner, competitors,
Single Deck, preferred for players of Two,
The winner, attains, at a score of Five Hundred, or highest above,
Without, rhyme, nor, reason, it's something to do.

If Donald don't win POTUS, White House, that's our Shame,
I give him Partnership, in this card-game, with his Name,
I wish him survival, in the Rough Seas He'll Sail to, and Claim,
USA, won't last long, after; Just, call it, End of the Game.
