Ultimate Destination
Ultimate Destination

Driving down the Highway, Roads,
A Profession, ventured, Day and Night,
You'd think. they who steer the Loads,
Would know better, when to fight.
They know the Rules, the Heavy Fines,
When caught, they pay the Duty,
But that can't develop Wisdom Lines,
And, dodging cars, can make them Snooty.
I use the 'Trucker,' as Sample,
To, hopefully, make a Point,
Politics, today, a Great-Big-Bramble,
But mostly, Political groups, Conjoint.
To Judge, a Driver, by their language,
Is Stupid, not worthy of discussion,
When admiring "How they'll haul Baggage,"
Safely to, Country's, 'Ultimate Destination.'
They can overlook, another's Faults,
And, Vote them, Driver of the Year,
But, with them, never Dance the Waltz,
Or, take the time, to 'Bend their Ear.'
The Trucker, I'm sure, would, 'Never,'
Vote for, a Taxi-Cab-Driver, to Win,
A Prize for Driver, of an Eighteen-Wheeler,
Denying, 'Right Choice, to be Missed,' a Sin.'
We have, as usual, only 'Two, Major-Option,'
This, Election year, Two Thousand-Sixteen.
Don't vote for the 'Cab-Driver,' for 'Adoption,'
Keep your Focus, on the 'Two,' Do-not 'Demean.'
Ponder, and Pray, to find the 'True Answer,'
Or, get drunk, and Vote, however you will,
The Key-word, is 'Vote,' or be a 'Deadly-Cancer,'
Out of sight, but, Screaming, until your 'Apathy Kills.'
AMEN
