Last Major Election

Election, is only a week away,
When we vote to Save a Nation,
Some serious, most just Play,
Gives cause for Consternation.

Eight years of Cunning Leadership,
With, damage not fully known,
Constitution Side-Stepped to 'Zip,'
From Destructive Edicts, 'Over-Blown.'

I speak my heart, and not the Laws,
That our Representatives put into place,
Under the Guise, of Problematic Flaws,
Real, or Imagined, for Saving Face.

Now, 'We the People,' have lost our Sway,
No more, are we in 'Voting' Control,
The, Man at the Top, has given us away,
Doubling, our Bankruptcy, as, if his Bankroll.

'Win, or Lose,' this may be Last Major Election,
All Loss, will be ours, no matter the Winner,
Our Country the Victim, of past Dereliction,
On our behalf, with Apathy's, 'Demeanor.'

Ponder, and Pray, before the Election,
Vote your heart, for 'All it is Worth,'
Our, Vote, and College, makes, Selection,
Are we, still, a Christian Nation, or of 'Lower-Birth?'
