Blessings from Above

What you render, from Hog-Fat
Might not be a loss, called Dross,
But, Pure Lard, and a Crispness, that,
Becomes, 'Purity,' after Sin, Loss.

In earthly terms, called 'Crackling,'
Unused, left over, from 'Lard,' of Blind,'
Lard, good for, Candles, and, Cooking,
But, 'Crackling's Purity,' is rejected, in Kind.

Perhaps, that is what we call 'Life,'
The 'lard,' seems better to use,
And 'Dogs eat, the 'Spirit-Rife,'
As we stager under Self-Abuse.

Life in Jesus, is Crispy, to Crunch,
With all that the Spirit provides,
When, we Dine, as we Munch,
As Spirit provides, Life-Guides.

The more often, that, In Him, we Dine,
Sends hearts, deeper into 'Love,'
The more we stray, We Pine,
For, God's Blessings, from Above.

To Jesus the Christ, Turn your heart,
Crunch the Crackling, of the Spirit,
Eternal Reward, will be Off the Chart,
Especially, 'When you Dine, and Share it.'
