Shmini Atzeret Day Eight

This is Day-One, "Sukkot," or 'Tabernacle,'
For Seven Days, to live in 'porous tent,'
With, porous roof for 'Star Spectacle,
Only the walls from sight, circumvent.

Decorated with Fronds, Blossoms, and food,
Through the night, Man Communes with God,
By prayer, and watching Star-light to include,
Stories, and Prophecy, as they all are Awed.

One of the stories, is to Tabernacle with God,
So "Emanuel" ('God-With-Us'), Mortally Expected,
Prophesied in Stars, 'Virgin Births the 'Son of God,"
Proclaimed in the Stars, yet, man soon Rejected.

To pick a day, of 'Messiah's Birth,' as a Dictate,
Would be Day-One, Sukkot, to fit all sign's entailed,
Feast of Birth, for Seven Days, plus, 'Special Day 'Eight,''
Not of Sukkot, but, with 'Circumcision,' Detailed.

"Shmini Atzeret," is this Holiday, by Name,
When, Jesus was Circumcised, as 'Son of a Jew,'
To Play His Part in God's 'Redemption Game,'
'Many are Called; but, Responding, are Few.'

Day Eight, is the day, that a man becomes Jew,
Receiving, 'Given Name;' his story known by Few,
If all mankind, studied, to know what to do,
This may be the 'Holiday,' Man shouldn't Eschew.
