One Godly Nation
One Godly Nation
By Arley Steinhour 101616 (Tishri 14, 5777)
Life on Earth is much like a Sukkah,
A place of vision, through 'Short Life,'
Made of Brush-limbs, cover with Lactuca,
But, with a loose roof, to view Stars, so Rife.
Seven days, to eat, drink, and sleep with God,
Including 'HaShem,' in all we think, say, and do,
As He looks down, on the 'Life, that we Plod,'
And Convicts our Souls, that we stay being True.
Continual, Communing, for Blessing on Life,
(And, through, Messiah, be His Church/Bride),
Prayerfully, Lovingly, enduring Mortal Strife,
Preparing our Soul, for Eternity, Joy Certified.
Each day of our life, we should mentally Tabernacle,
And, for Seven-days, each year, show Him we care,
By a life, like in Wilderness, however 'Ramshackle,'
To be so close to God, all things started with Prayer.
When the Sun sets, on this Eve, in preparation,
May, we, at least, set our heart, to the Sukkot,
To live the next Seven Days, as 'One Godly Nation,'
A Good Time, for Unsaved, 'Be Part of God's Cote.'
AMEN
