SEVEN SEALS
SEVEN SEALS
By Arley Steinhour 100416 (rev of 100410
The Bride is gone, Snatched Away, the Wedding Feast begins,
While Anti-Christ rules on earth, False Prophet are like twins.
Jesus opened Seal One, Tribulation begins on Planet Earth,
Truth, like lightening, oft gives Thunder, before Flash of Birth.
One beast who stands before our God, told John, 'Come and see,'
A rider on great white horse, bow held high, he a warrior be.
A crown to wear, given him, which lends fearsome look to brow,
Going forth conquering, to conquer, them Left Behind, somehow.
For seven years, he'll war and kill, anyone who gets in way,
Building his power base, to take a new course, on half-way day.
Second seal Lamb did snap, and another beast said come see,
A Red War-horse, and rider with sword, swinging wild and free.
Dressed for war, horse snorting loud, armament on its breast,
A fearsome duo these two did make, the world will know no rest.
Peace is gone, from Earth, man fight and kill each other,
With any weapon they can find, but 'blade' used to kill a brother.
Off and on, for seven years, war rages both day and night,
It seems that man has nothing to do, except to find a fight.
Seal three snapped, a beast came, saying see the burning of land,
Rider on Black horse, balance held up in hard, gnarly hand.
A voice, among the four beasts, called out, voicing a threat,
Three of barley or one of wheat, a penny, harm not Oil or wine, you can't get.
Famine rules world for years, recovery slow, especially for poor,
Rich people eat well, as, starving poor, they show the door.
Seal Four crushed, a sight seen, no one ever should find,
A sickly green horse, astride, Death, Hell followed, right behind.
With Banshee wails they rode the world, reaping greatly, of dead,
After Seven years, four of five would no more sleep in a bed.
Death took many faces, hunger, war, pestilence, and beast, but a few,
If He hadn't shortened the days, no man would survive, God knew.
The first four seals now broken, no one doubts it by now,
Tribulation's deadly twenty-one kills, like a sharp plow.
'Five,' changes vision flow, around alter stand many martyred,
"How long, Lord, before you avenge;" robes ragged and disordered.
'Wait a while til all be here, yet to die the fate you didn't survive,'
White Robes were handed-out, that they could feel more alive.
'A Little season the call, you must wait till 'Number's Complete,'
So, at Bema Judgment, 'Special Reward,' is lain at their feet.
Seal-Six opens with massive earthquake, rocking land like a flood,
The sun becomes as sackcloth of hair, moon dark red, like blood.
Stars fall brightly to earth, exploding with a deadly light,
Fig trees shed figs as the wind blows limbs, from left and right.
Sky rolls back, like opened scroll, Mountain, and Isle, displace,
'Rich, and Bond,' hide under rocks, to flee from God's Angry Face.
Finally, man's figured out, God won't ignore mortal stupidity,
'Days of wrath,' now be upon man, who wanted Sinful Mortality.
At last, God has man's attention, plot thickens, on all below,
Four angels stand to tell winds of world, 'Thou shalt not blow;'
Then comes an angel with 'The Seal of God,' lifting his hand,
Harm not, earth, sea, nor tree, till I 'Seal a Hundred forty-four thousand.
Revelation Chapter 'Seven,' verses five through eight lists all counted,
Except for Dan, who isn't there; may have been 'disinherited.'
The Throne room fills to brim, with souls beyond counting,
Every nation, kindred, people, and tongue, stand, Praising.
All, Brightly Dressed in White, looks like field of Snow,
Palms in hands, crying, 'Salvation of God/Jesus, we know.'
Angels, Elders, and four beasts, fall down, Worship God's Reign,
Singing, AMEN, AMEN, Blessing and Honor to God, AMEN, AMEN.
'Who are these, arrayed in white, an Elder asked one from below,
Awed, and Speechless, he couldn't answer, more than, 'you know.'
'Those from Great Tribulation, having washed robes pure white,
They whitened robes the only way, in the blood of Lamb, so Bright.
They'll serve before God, in the Temple; and He that sits on throne,
He'll dwell among them, for ever, safe from harm and unknown.
The Lamb opened 'Seven,' and in Heaven, an half hour cessation,
No sound of praise, nor song, as Seven Trumpeters made preparation.
Seven angels, ready to sound their Call, none would even falter,
Another, filled a censer with incense, with prayers upon throne's alter.
Smoke of incense, and prayers, of Saints, floated to the throne,
The Angel takes censor, aflame, and flings it down to earth;
Where voices, lightning, thunder, and quakes, tear at Earth,
As the Trumpeters, prepare to Call, on 'Travail as childbirth.'
Half of Seven years, have passed, best half of Tribulation, is done,
Now begins the second half, the worst part, for years left, every-one.
The Beast now thinks he is god, and will kill any who disagree,
The world is topsy-turvy, and there's no one left who's free.
Israeli, and Christian Faith, must hide in God's seclusion,
Or, be marched off, to ethnic cleansing place, for execution.
Make your choice for Jesus, before this poem becomes a fact,
For if you don't and Hell settles in, you won't know how to act.
'Oopsies,' will not count no more, and 'Cursing God,' won't work,
Turn your heart to Jesus, or, in Lake of fire, Eternally Lurk.
AMEN
