Setting Road Straight
Setting Road Straight

The Grain has Dried,
Now, Stored In Tower,
When, Wheel is Applied,
Grain is ground into Flour.
Producers, though Tired,
From long, hard, Labor,
Celebrate with the Hired,
Praising God, for His Favor.
Tithe, no less than, One in Ten,
That God's Temple 'Governs in Glory,'
On self, God's Blessing, renewing, again,
And, 'Good Life,' be always, the Story.
A Portion of Harvest,
To the Fatherless Son,
To Widow, without a Nest,
And, Stranger, never to Shun.
This is the thought, of the Season,
By God's People, since long ago,
But, now, Refinding the 'Reason,'
As they recover, from Diaspora Woe.
Now, I beg you, please Take a Breath,
As I suggest, possibly, 'Transition-History,'
I offer a Ponder, on 'National Death,'
On the 'Voice of One,' a Bible Mystery.
John, the Baptizer, Cousin of Jesus,
Six months, older, 'Setting Road Straight,'
Crying out, from Wilderness, to tease us,
Until Jesus, Messiah, stands at the Gate.
The USA, just might be the New John,
The Wilderness, the 'Land of the Free,'
We, that Cry out, won't be headsman Pawn,
As Jesus, 'Snatches us Away,' before that can be.
Raptured away, before USA 'Goes Down,'
Because, Church/Bride is Gone, with Holy Ghost,
There Stands only One, Non-believers call 'Clown,'
He takes the Throne, after most become 'Toast.'
The 'Left Behind, are blended with 'Sin/Yeast,'
In the worship of Satan, they'll Pay the Bill,
Forever, by Taking the Mark of the Beast,
Torment, Eternal, with Screaming, Shrill.
AMEN
