Restricted from Citizenry
Restricted from Citizenry
By Arley Steinhour 081916
Retired from Navy, almost, Thirty-Seven years,
Almost makes me want to Shed Some Tears,
Reading articles, about ships, Decommissioned,
Tells me, I am no-longer Productively-Missioned.
Every Ship that I rode, is no longer in Service,
Makes my old body, feel kind of Nervous,
The mileage was Hard, Service took a tole,
I'm Safely Anchored in Nebraska, next to a Hole.
The Hole that I'm next to, is worthy of me,
Either that, or, perhaps, Planting of Tree,
I've had a good life, travelling the World,
Not once, did I ever, see our Flag Unfurled.
Today, as I age, I see this, Beloved Country,
Bowing and Scraping, to our New Gentry,
That, Play the Slave Game, not Complementary,
Dragging us down, unto Third World-Elementary.
Look, to the future, wherever it may be,
Try hard, to remake it the Land of the Free,
The Damage that's done, with near Certainty,
Cannot be Fixed, without damage, to you or me.
The U. S. A. that Once, Used to Be,
Can't be Reclaimed, as the 'Land of the Free,'
Lifestyles that want to subjugate you and me,
Must, now be 'Restricted, from Citizenry.'
Like Heaven, no one, can put Old Home Ahead,
Of what they came to enjoy, by putting, New to Bed,
All they came from, they must Totally Shred,
Then, Freedom may, once again, be Spread.
AMEN
