Shorn of Sin Life
Shorn of Sin Life
By Arley Steinhour 081816
Without a sound, you can feel it Call:
"Come and Fill Me, Wall to Wall,
Six Days a week, I do little Work,
But on God's Day, I Truly 'Perk.''
I'm a building that should be Used,
Seven of Seven, not One, 'Underused,'
I'm in my Prime, with Praise and Worship,
And Unsaved, seeking Jesus' Courtship.
To be a Church Building, without a Spire,
Is Fine with me, with Congregation on 'Fire,'
Prayer, and Praise, echoing off the Rafter,
Turning hearts to Jesus, to the 'Here-After.'"
Sadly, however, especially from Fear,
Many Church-doors, (Seeker Knocking), don't Hear,
Seekers are turned away from Salvation,
When, Sundry Rules, prevent Rebirth Conjugation.
The Time, we're in, sees Worshipers Wane,
Pew's hardly used, and the 'Budget, in Pain,'
Many the Soul, that seems to 'Fall Away,'
Not understanding, 'Saved is Saved,' every day.
You don't need a building to be Reborn,
You do need Congregation, to be 'Shorn,'
Shorn of 'Sin Life,' to Disciple Jesus,
Though you Run, He, always Sees Us.
So, come to the Church Building, called "Me,"
Get to know Jesus, plus others who see,
Sing Hallelujahs, Emphasize, with AMEN,
You'll Learn Better, until, 'you know when...'
AMEN
