Season of Mortality
Season of Mortality
By Arley Steinhour 052616
Crisp and Blue, the morning Sun,
Lights the sky, unless Cloud's have Won,
But, Just, and True, be God the Son,
With 'His Redemption,' you're never Lonely.
Mortal Life, is much like, Problem of Sun,
With, Gains and Losses, that abound,
That, teach us how, to enjoy, the 'Son,'
Affects, of Mortality, are oft, Compound.
The Sun, can warm, and make plants grow,
The Cloud, can shade, giving faithful rain,
Too much Sun, will Burn, from powerful Glow,
Rain of Cloud, by Flood, or Hail, sources much Pain.
The, 'Season of Mortality,' with Family Woes, and Strife,
Born to 'Bad Parents,' or Being One, or 'Just Bad,' we Fall,
Often leads us down a path, with a very Stormy Life,
Unless, heart is opened, to God the Son, as Fundamental.
The change, can be like Bolt of Lightning, striking,
Or, naught much more than a Warm feeling of Love,
Depending, on your guilt, say a 'Babylonian King,'
Or a Meek, Mild, Soul, very much like a Dove.
No matter the numbers of Guilt, even a 'Sin of One,'
Often, Thousands; we can never Pay the Price,
But, by Accepting Jesus, can we gain our 'Redemption,'
Only then, are we Justified, and His Payment, Suffice.
You'll still have your Mortal 'up's,' and 'down's,'
But most should be fewer and farther between,
As you 'work' at Discipling, and earning of 'Crowns,'
As 'Part of the Church/Bride,' composing 'God's Queen.'
AMEN
