Perfectly Groomed
Perfectly Groomed
By Arley Steinhour 051116
Flowers blooming everywhere,
Sometimes, it seems, without a care,
They lift their many colored Fare,
To any eye, the beauty can share.
To watch the plant life, come to bloom,
And know the harvest soon will come,
It seems, sometimes, there is no room,
In man's heart, to receive God's Shalom.
Time Ripe to bloom, and move ahead,
Putting our Sin-life to Eternal bed,
God's Word has quite succinctly said,
Repent of Sin, in Son's Path Tread.
The bloom will shortly darken and Wilt,
The seed will die, and fall to the Silt,
In the hopes, next year to be rebuilt,
Colored, as bright, without trace of Guilt.
Mankind is like that, Beautifully Bloomed,
We're born, and we live, until entombed,
Our seed will follow in our track, presumed,
Some good, some bad, if not 'Perfectly Groomed.'
Those not Groomed 'Perfect,' as none can be,
Have the ability to belong to God's Family,
But, we must 'bloom' before the Son, to be Free,
To be a 'Justified' part of God's Family Tree.
AMEN
