Sooon Comes the Call
Soon Comes the Call
By Arley Steinhour 042816
What will we be when we are called home,
What would you have us to do,
What-ever it be, we will never more roam,
As the Assignment has come from You.
We may be a Sign-post, at edge of the road,
With nothing more to do than say 'Stop,'
Perhaps we'll even look at the size of the load,
And, if they work too hard, we'll call a Cop.
Another will be there, in blink of the eye,
To let all know, there's no need to sweat,
With attention to detail, we never will cry,
As the load is easy, not to exceed caveat.
Soon comes the call, of Trumpet and Voice,
To close out the Time of the Gentile,
On our way Home, we, all, will Rejoice,
Except for the 'Grin,' you'll not see a smile.
The Praise, on lips, will ever reside,
For our Redemption, by Jesus, our King,
The Bridegroom of this Faithful Church/Bride,
Redeemed from Sin, by blood, and Wedding Ring.
Make up your heart/mind, please, very soon,
He only comes calling one time, without warning,
To take His Church/Bride Home, to ever Commune,
For all Eternity, where there's no Tears, nor Mourning.
AMEN
