Two Thousand and One
Two Thousand and One
By Arley Steinhour 041616
(The Movie opening calls out)
At start of life,
(Within the womb),
You have no understanding,
You mind is clean,
With extensive room,
For knowledge comprehending.
When Sun begins to shine,
And the Moon is new,
God may speak into your mind;
If ever, thought passed,
through that virgin process,
That be known to human kind.
You find a bone,
Upon the ground,
But this time you have found,
A mighty equalizer,
Of perfect numbers power,
Blows, dealt by the 'pound.'
Upon the ground,
Like blows of a 'Jaw bone,'
It crushes, all you strike,
You have learned,
A weapon skill,
That you may use, and like.
Remember this,
You take a life,
When you strike upon the head,
Repentance,
Nor, a tender kiss,
Can bring them back from dead.
Trust in God,
To take away,
The Sin you have committed,
By Repenting,
Your Sin-filled way,
That, to Heaven you are Admitted.
AMEN
