Worthy of Bride Price

What is that, there,
On yonder sky,
A cloud to Fear,
Or bring twinkle to Eye.

I almost pray He tarry,
With the attitude of Church,
So many, quite contrary,
They might be left in Lurch.

Our seeking, of a God of Slavery,
Doing everything for acceptance,
Instead of the Man of Calvary,
In heart, not allowed Entrance.

Believing 'on' Jesus, Immanuel,
'God with Us,' from 'On-High,'
Who's Birth a total Miracle,
Our Praise, and Works, Exemplify.

Reward, that Pleases us, must be,
Received after we Graduate,
Home to Him, who 'Set us Free,'
On the Rugged Cross, 'Passover Date.'

The only acts, that we can do,
Must Glorify His Sacrifice,
Until our days, as mortal, are through,
And, found, 'Worthy of our Bride Price.'
