Winning the Race
Winning the Race
By Arley Steinhour 021616
(To my Sister and Family)
The tear you saw, upon her worn face,
As she left behind, for her loving family,
Was not of pain, but of 'Winning the Race,'
To be held in Jesus' Arms, for Eternity.
With a tear, only a Mother can accomplish,
When passing love on, at one's mortal death,
Leaving her Heavenly love, as she flies,
To be remembered, at 'Final Breath.'
No more to suffer her pain, through demise,
Then, the time of waiting, until we are there,
The tear ends mortality, as it leaves the eyes,
Sealing her family, with Love, they can Share.
The pain, and suffering, that comes with death,
Is, a small portion of what Took Jesus' Breath,
When He Paid the Price, to Redeem our Sin,
Only through His tear, can this 'Race,' we Win.
Fall to your knees, and Repent of your Sin,
Receiving Salvation, from God, you Win,
Disciple His way, taught, through the 'Son,'
Be Part of His Family, with Eternity Won.
We will see you soon, Dear Sister Mine.
AMEN
