Only True Joy
Only True Joy
By Arley Steinhour 021016
Memories, assembled, throughout our mortal Life,
As, Children and Adult, especially, Husband or Wife,
Memories, that bring us Joy or perhaps Pain of Strife,
Affects our personality, through Mortality, and 'Afterlife.'
The Joy of owning, a first, Doll or a Bat and Ball,
First, tooth pulled, fight, or hug, are memories all,
Through all of the stages, of one's lifetime,
To carry forever, beyond life's 'mountainous climb.'
Going to School, and playing in Sports,
Or, walking streets, and be ruled by Courts,
We enter the years of production and fame,
As we apply ourselves, we fine tune our Name.
In an Adult life, most as Husband and Wife,
We carry our name, into our children's life,
Wedlock, it seems, has broken apart,
Through Divorce, seen by scars on the heart.
More than once, many try to fill their 'heart' need,
Always complaining, and feeling they're a rotten seed,
If only they'd look up, to find their Salvation,
In Life's only True Joy, Jesus, God of Creation.
He'd tell, one and all, 'we need suffer tribulation,'
To polish our heart, in Him, to become a Nation,
Bride, of the King, God/Jesus, the 'One we Need,'
Mortality prepares us for Heaven, as Mighty of Deed.
With Wisdom, that's gained, from Holy Ghost,
Price of our Sin, is Fully Paid by Blood, on the 'Post,'
Justified to Good Works, with no Memory of Debt,
Rewarded, from a Jeweled Crown, to a 'Barrette.'
AMEN
