Tripoli Revisited
Tripoli Revisited
By Arley Steinhour 123015
Once upon a very short time,
When Sanity did almost Rhyme,
The Military, those, who kept us Free,
Were welcomed home, a sight to see.
Please, let me tell you, all, this,
Especially, sadly, to Richard's Sis,
Doing Military job well, is a 'Profession,'
But many more would die, without our intercession.
Protecting the weak, we did our job,
No Thanks, from you, is like 'wiping of Cob,'
Remember the years, that you were Safe,
With Enemy, next door, you're dead or a Waif.
From, your brother, I pray, that you may learn,
Soon, Rape and Murder, be wherever you turn,
Then, it will be, for 'Freedom,' too late,
'Freedom,' gone, we cannot choose our Estate.
The attitude of submission, is much like Thunder,
To the blind man, not seeing lightening's Plunder,
Be proud, if you will, in your Mortal Estate,
Without Jesus, when dying, it's far too Late.
AMEN
PS: Happy New Year, to one and all,
2016, a good year for America to fall,
'From Halls of Montezuma, to Shores of Tripoli,'
Soon, to be the War Cry, of America, if, still Free.
