God Came to Man
God Came to Man
By Arley Steinhour 122315
In the dark of Night,
Came a Special Light,
From a Great Height,
And, ever so Bright.
It led the Shepherds,
Based on Angels words,
Never before, in middle of night,
Had Dark of Night, been so Bright.
Eagerly, they left the flock,
Followed the Star, to manger dock,
There, in a manger, lie a Baby,
In Swaddling wrap, King and Rabbi.
The Manger, in that 'Birthing Cote,'
Normally for foal, of Cow, Ewe, or Goat,
Brimming with straw, fresh and clean,
Was Immanuel, (God With Us), Seen.
Yahuah/God, had come down from His Throne,
To be born, grow, and die, on Cross, alone,
To Justify, man, who would Ask, and Believe,
'Jesus,' the Man/God, as from Sin, they Cleave.
Reborn, celebrate, His Birth, for the Cross,
His Birth, and mission, Saves us from Loss,
The Time is so short, this Christmas may End,
The Time of the Gentile, no time left to spend.
AMEN
