Birth on earth Day
Birth on Earth Day
By Arley Steinhour 122015
Christmas Day, we come before Your Throne,
That You, and We, feel not alone,
In Worship to, Lord, and King, God of Earth
For being Born, to give us 'Second Birth.'
You came to mankind, Immanuel,
To Save our Souls from Flames of Hell,
When, we Repent to You, as Son of God,
Then, Justified, will not feel Your Rod.
The Shepherds were watching, unaware,
That, with them Your Birth, You would Share,
They came to the Manger, where you lie,
God, in the lowliest, on straw, with the Fly.
Shakina Glory, lit the manger's bay,
Clean, for a 'New Lamb,' born that day,
Immanuel, asleep, in lowly manger,
God, of Mankind, what could be stranger?
Your Life, preparation, for Your Death,
Upon the Cross, You breathed last Breath,
Paying the Price that man owes, and can't Pay,
You paid that Price, on that Fateful Day.
For Two Thousand Years, we've 'Witnessed' You,
Now, Prophecy says, 'You'll Return,' for the 'True,'
As this final Generation, must Watch, on the Ready,
To be Called Home, anxious to go, 'Ready and Heady.'
AMEN
