Standing for Judgment
Standing for Judgment
By Arley Steinhour 120415
We all walk through this Mortal life,
From Birth, through Death, we trod,
Enduring Good, Suffering, and Strife,
Oft, never finding our One True God.
We reason, we are the top of the Chain,
No creature, but Man, can Reason,
Because we have a logical Brain,
And, we control the problems, of Season.
Many hearts follow the 'Rule of Science,'
Without a smidgen of doubt, in mind,
Believing that man must be in compliance,
Of 'Nature,' rejecting repetition, they find.
Our planet, does cycle, over periods of time,
But, man has small play, in the cycle affect,
From Hotter, to Colder, in adjustments, of Clime,
Man, must use adjustment, historically circumspect.
What has this to do, with God, or our action?
About, what's going on, and what we need do,
God says, 'He Made, all,' man has no satisfaction,
So, we use innuendo, not proving what's True.
God states in His 'Book,' the when, and how,
Science takes Theory, to explain that away,
If man's Theories, are right, we made the 'Plow,'
Do we return to living style, of first day?
Sorting, for grubs, and lizards, to eat,
Or, do we plant seed to harvest, for bread,
Continue to raise cattle, for our table meat,
Or, do we kill the 'polluters,' until their Dead?
When, we've died, and Standing for Judgment,
We'll know just how wrong we could be,
My preference is God/Jesus, in my excitement,
Knowing, I'll be with Him, by His Action, at Calvary.
AMEN
