The Path We Take
The Path We Take
By Arley Steinhour 120315
I woke up to a heavy heart,
Twas a challenge to my God,
And how Satan, play's his part,
'Fallen,' yet Sinners Applaud.
When God speaks, His 'Truth,'
He's not allowed, to be in error,
Yet, Satan's allowed to be Uncouth,
As a false god, creating Terror.
This mortal heart, Reborn, in the 'Son,'
Is Promised, an Eternity, of Being Free,
Attacks, by Satan, show we have Won,
In the Blood of Christ, and Heaven, to See.
The part that concerns my weary heart,
Is, the 'great number' that follow Satan,
At Garden of Eden, he twisted 'Man's' Start,
Convincing Adam, with words, of a Charlatan.
Six Thousand years, man propagates that Curse,
'Knowing, Good, from Evil,' with Evil more fun,
Good, is guided, in God's Book, Chapter, and Verse,
Evil, promotes, deviation, to sin-filled satisfaction.
We all need to choose, the path we take,
The 'narrow,' to Jesus, or 'broad,' to the 'Lake,'
And, once we've finished life, as good, or mistake,
Eternal, Joy or Flame, 'the-which,' we Rightly Partake.
AMEN
