Color and Sheen
Color and Sheen
By Arley Steinhour 110615
(Inspired by Rosie Nixon Photo)
Rosie Nixon, posted a Photo, as from Heaven,
'Dunbeg House, Bishop's Bay, Loch Leven,'
If, mine, I'd have a chair, at water's edge,
To, safely, cast my hook, from off a wedge,
Waiting for fish to take a look,
I'd peruse the scenery, for a Book;
But, if fish nibbled on bait of hook,
I might have one, for dinner, to cook.
Sitting back, and 'eating,' this Regal Scene,
I'd enjoy the revelry, of Color, and Sheen,
All I purveyed, would burn in my heart,
Total enjoyment, of Your 'Creation Part.'
I'd look to the sky, and Worship You,
For being my God, and All You Do,
You gave us a Garden, we should tend,
But, we sold it to Satan, and you, Offend.
Soon, you Return, to bring Time to an End,
Today, or Tomorrow, or 'Around Yonder Bend,'
Until the day we, Church/Bride, Graduate,
We seek You, in all, that You Create.
Many won't see, what I do, in Your Rendition,
The blending of colors, that quells all Sedition,
The not yet Reborn, in Son, Jesus, the Christ,
Will Wail when they know, 'Grace Repentance,' Sufficed.
AMEN
