Freedom to FLY
Freedom to FLY
By Arley Steinhour 101915
I've forgotten how to fly,
As I did, when I was young,
Twas off to bed, close my eyes,
Then, to the sky was flung.
Power, greater than the wing,
Would lift me from the ground,
Arms outstretched, to sky, I'd fling,
Joy, in heart, with freedom found.
I never stayed there, very long,
Flights were only minutes,
But, in the time to sing a song,
I'd flown with Angel Spirits.
The day soon comes, once again,
When my spirit plies God's skies,
With all my sisters and brothers, Win,
Eternal cavorting, with Heaven's Allies.
Praising, and Worshiping, Jesus, the King,
With all the Redeemed, who also take Wing,
By the Grace of God/Jesus, Justified, we Sing,
For accepting His Sacrifice, 'Our Golden Ring.'
AMEN
