Removing our Shackles
Removing our Shackles
By Arley Steinhour
Dear Father God/Jesus;
The pathway, now, begins to bloom,
Three days, to 'Feast of Tabernacles,'
When you might come, as the Groom,
To sweep us away, Removing our Shackles.
We're anchored into life, called Mortality;
You'll sneak into world, with stealth,
To release your Bride, with Shackle Key,
To be with you, Eternal, in Joy, and Wealth.
Of course, that Tabernacle Date, may be,
But, another day, to expect your arrival,
Keeping the watch in a way all can see,
Entices the unsaved, to desire, Survival.
Only the Unsaved, should see you as 'Thief,'
Slinking in, to steal, your Bride, 'Redeemed,'
We, who accept you, to our Eternal Relief,
Keep watch on the sky, for you, our Esteemed.
If only the Unsaved, would crave to be Free,
Unshackled, from Satan, who has many convicted,
That, in this Mortal Life, Sin, is all that there be,
He blinds them to the Wonders, of all they don't see.
We witness your Love, and invite them to Ponder,
The Joys of Eternity, against, Sin-parties of today,
The Bible would help them, if, they'd just turn a page,
To know You Love them; they need turn heart, your Way.
AMEN
