CONVENTION TABLE
CONVENTION TABLE
By Arley Steinhour 091615
Have you ever wondered why,
All souls must choose their way,
To fill desires, or eternally Cry,
'Wishing they'd chosen the 'Other Stay?'
How many 'women' have you heard cry,
'I should have married the banker man,
To have a life I'm worth, before I Die,'
Forgetting their Eternity, and God's Plan.
Imagine, you, sitting, at a 'Convention Table,'
With two Suitors, vying, to purchase your hand,
'One,' is beautiful, with scarf of Royal Sabal,
'Other,' a Nerd, with promise of Perfect Life Planned.
From 'One,' a full bag of gifts, all ready for use,
'Other,' makes Promise of, a better, 'Afterlife Berth,'
Choice of 'One,' for Riches and Fame, accept or refuse,
Choice of 'Other,' means trials, with rewards, beyond Earth.
As the subject of convention, you make your choice,
Two cups placed before you, of one, you may sip,
You, make your decision, on, When you 'Rejoice,'
Between, rewards here and now, and, after, 'Mortal Life Trip.'
Beware of 'Choice Three,' lurking in the shadows,
Rejecting offers, of first two, brings 'Most-Assured Doom,'
Since, Satan owns 'Adam's Contract,' 'Doom is your Gallows,'
Sip of the Cup, Guaranteeing, the Hope of, 'Eternal Room.'
AMEN
