Shade of the Son
Shade of the Son
By Arley Steinhour 090815
The clouds do truly play today,
As they settle, to the ground,
Almost rain, the perfect way,
God's moisture drops abound.
Heat of Sun, can't break through,
To dry, the crops, for Harvest,
Fog, allows plant to do as they do,
Finish forming the 'Heads,' as Blessed.
We, of the Fold, of the Son of God,
Are the 'Wheat', to which Jesus speaks,
By shading the 'others,' of less strong pod,
We become Harvest, high as mountain peaks.
Safely residing, in the Shade of the Son,
We have a new life, where Sin cannot peek,
Blessed, by influence of, Holy Spirit, The 'One,'
We learn to become, the Pure, and Meek.
Forgiving, of Evil, plays a major part,
Of any encounter, with enemy bold,
'Loving the enemy with all of one's heart,
Heaps 'coals' on their head,' we are told.
Being a Christian, a coward we can't be,
Free, as we be, in the Shade of the Son,
We Love, 'unto Death,' to set people free,
With His Blessing, the race we have Won.
AMEN
