All You Purvey
All You Purvey
By Arley Steinhour 082815
I arise, in the morning, with much to say,
To orate, and rhyme in my, special way,
Praising my Maker, who's with me each day,
His presence thrills heart, as my work is Play.
Before His Throne, my Praise, I array,
To worship, His 'being,' in heart to stay,
So He knows, I try to meet Him halfway,
To follow His steps, in sand, He display.
Singing, and dancing, in modern Ballet,
With faces shining, like Porcelain Clay,
Our great Love for you, we want to portray,
With a side-bar of Satan, being full of dismay.
Eternity, with you, in our brand-new chalet,
Fixtures of Gold, with no rent to pay,
Food, fresh forever, with no hint of decay,
Never to tire, no night to sleep away.
When you come, to call home, Your Church, not astray,
With Angels surrounding, to keep Satan at bay,
We soon gain safe harbor, in Heavens strong quay,
Co-heir with God, Jesus, in All You Purvey.
AMEN
