Multiples Galore
Multiples Galore
By Arley Steinhour 081015
Maize-corn is standing Eight feet tall,
Wheat harvest complete, and in the bin,
Crops cover the ground, like Urban sprawl,
As rain enhances crop growth, a farmer's Amen.
Yet, the world population is mostly in hunger,
With crops used to fuel transportation,
While, 'Hungry' are told to wait a bit Longer,
Until, Technology, makes 'Clean Air' Transformation.
The World population, can't wait much longer,
Before it rebels, or succumbs to mortal death,
With leaders, and wealthy, acting like 'Mongers,'
The Poor, and the Sick, have little more Breath.
Where, lies the answer, between 'Downtrodden, and Greed,'
The wealthy, are focused on growing the 'Buck,'
Power, and Substance, aren't Mans Greatest Need,
Perhaps, if we would only, give a part of our 'Luck.'
God, blesses them, that give well 'To the Poor,'
The more that they give, He responds, 'With More,'
Of that which they gave, with 'Multiples, Galore,'
But, condemns those who show hungry 'The Door.'
AMEN
