Stroke of Twelve
Stroke of Twelve
By Arley Steinhour 051715
The stroke of twelve, and all is well,
I lift my heart, for Praise to swell,
Your mighty presence, fills the room,
I stand before, my God, and Groom.
You paid the price, Redeemed my soul,
When I accepted, Heaven's bells did toll,
You purged the filth, from off my heart,
That I be found worthy of new life, start.
You filled the void, with Holy Spirit,
My ways did change, so all could hear it,
I laugh, I giggle, I praise Your Name,
Never again, need I feel Satan Shame.
You took my Sin, placed it on your back,
Where bloody lashing had given no slack,
Then paid the Charge, I couldn't pay,
Like the Perfect 'Lamb,' Sacrificed that day.
You gave your life, that I might live,
No more can Satan say, God needs forgive,
You teach and council, as Beloved Spirit,
My peers, can now, see-it and hear-it.
Redemption, by Grace, soon comes to an end,
When, You call for your Bride, it does not extend,
Then back to the proving, by faith, and works,
White Throne judgment, no Salvation perks.
Amen
