Nissan Fourteen
Nissan Fourteen
By Arley Steinhour 032915
Our Praises be unto Your Holy Name,
For all mankind, You took on our Shame,
So 'death' would Pass and not Defame,
Your Church and Bride, are One and Same.
Nissan fourteen, the Day You Died,
Placed in tomb, mouth opened Wide,
Descended into Hell, and Cried,
'Come unto me, Saints, Certified.'
Their graves did open when the Earth Shook,
Arising after You, upon which people did look,
At Sunrise, Day of First Fruits, Saints you took,
To Present to Father, as Apostles felt, You'd 'Forsook.'
Forsaken, no, You returned that Day,
To tell us that You'd never be far away,
All we need do was Faithfully Pray,
And Disciple you, Life Walk in Your Way.
Your Holy Words, to be our Guide,
Words, so pure, even Satan can't Hide,
When we accept Your Guarantees, Inside,
We are Redeemed, Your Church, and Bride.
AMEN
