Age of Accountability
Age of Accountability
By Arley Steinhour 031715
You're standing in front of the Pearly Gate,
You're right on time, not early or late,
As, One question is asked, for direction you go,
'Did you accept the 'Son,' or do you go Below?'
Mortal life prepares one for the Eternal,
Be it a life, of Redemption, Supernal,
Or, do we reject God, as the Son,
Through Sin filled 'games and fun?'
In this mortal life, we all must live,
No 'work' suffices, so God can Forgive,
Be it short, long, or in the womb,
We Go Up, or Down, once in the Tomb.
The Unborn, and the Younger child,
Is counted 'Innocent,' not 'wild,'
Until the 'Age of Accountability,'
For acts, requiring Responsibility.
Beyond attaining the age of twelve,
Is where Satan loves to delve,
Only the Son, can guide us through,
To The Gate of Heaven, if to Him, we're True.
AMEN
