John Twenty Twenty Nine

'People get ready, Jesus is coming ...'
Must be a song, this side of the rainbow,
That will stop our incessant roaming,
From the Narrow path, on which we go.

If there ever was a time, we should know,
To keep the watch on high,
Would be this time, with the fighting below,
We soon escape, to the Sweet By and By.

John Twenty, twenty Nine, the Biblical key,
'Belief' without seeing him,
Brings the day that truly sets us free,
To stand before Jesus, and sing our Hymn.

Our voice will fly, and not be shy,
We'll be much more like Him,
With bodies and Souls that never die,
And Joy that can never be grim.

I call you, Repent, be Free,
The time is so very near,
To make us all His Family,
Then, Stand up and Cheer.
