Broken Love
Broken Love
By Arley Steinhour 080714
You ar a pain deep in my heart,
A pain that could tear us both apart,
Soul mates, both, with world locked out,
Enough that I, in glee, should shout.
Alas, again I must turn away,
From filling to brim my very day,
Your spouse precludes my every wish,
My spouse, though divorced, must stay on my dish.
My first rejection was for my childrens' sake,
This time is for your children's cake,
The cake of family together as one,
With memories of hurt, love, and fun.
Your spouse, I feel is a stupid ass,
Driving you away through wealthy has no class,
You love him so, much more than me,
With him, you've created a family tree.
Stick it out through trial, and bust,
Get in his face, that love's not rust,
One cannot sweep away a life of trust,
You both must relent, and that's a must.
AMEN
