Sick Injured or Well
Sick Injured or Well
By Arley Steinhour 072814
I took my place upon the bed,
Much more than pillow under head,
Down and up, or lounging chair,
With tubes and wires everywhere.
Taste and flair designs the room
Speaks to healing, not a tomb,
The Staff is great, with all their care,
Recovery progress is their Flair.
Building new, with seasoned crew,
Skill and pride take care of you,
Ten days, or more, I'm locked away,
Antibiotics, so germs can't stay.
The days are hot, the nights are warm,
My room, at eighty, the Air-conditioned norm,
I'll stay inside and rely on my phone,
Sheltered by Jesus, I'm never alone.
When you're sick, injured, or intense of pain,
Turn to Jesus, so comfort can reign,
Not part of Jesus, when sick, injured, or well?,
Priority one, is Jesus, in Him, nothing to tell.
AMEN
