Dream Tornadoes
Dream Tornados

On a family outing to the country, we found a very large, single story building, of sorts, with holes in the roof, to allow trees, inside, to grow up and outward, rooted on the inside.
The building: seemed to be built with modular add-on-structures, but sharing a single pitched roof, covering the entire expanse of building. Each module was constructed of a variety of building techniques, from ticky-tacky, super poor folk style, to Mansion Brick unites, yet didn't interfere with the overall continuity of the building. The spine of the roof, must have been over fifty feet, and looked as if it was constructed to expand, by raising it, to allow for new modules to be added, in some way, yet not affect the overall appearance of a single building. Very impressive, I thought.
A Storm: With a Super Cell cloud developing, very quickly, and we started to seek shelter, and luckily spotted the building, almost invisible within the surrounding foliage, and trees protruding through the Roof. Approaching the building, it seemed to be vacant, and unused, for some time, and we decided to find a strong walled unit to wait-out the apparent storm developing. Within minutes, the storm developed to a point where funnel clouds were dropping from the main cumulous cloud, and we recognized the extremeness of our predicament, as two tornadoes were headed what seemed to be directly at the building, ergo, us. Funnel one seemed to be some weaker than the second, which was developing into a category three, or four, very quickly. With little time to search out protection, we settled for a brick structure, with complicated corners constructed into the hodge-podge of rooms arranged, as if no one understood standard room layouts. We settled into a small room, with four corners, and other brick walls abutting, for increased strength of protection.
Sure enough, the first twister struck the building. I had noticed the roof was as I had suspected, raised to accommodate additions, but in a very slip-shod way (imagine a tree-house nailed together by a group of eight, or nine year old boys, making a tree house, and the boys would win by a mile. I could not figure out what actually supported the roof, but was sure it would fly away. Lo-and-behold, the roof held, but was severely damaged by the heaving and buckling it went through from the wind. Most of the ticky-tacky, and standard built units were destroyed, or severely damaged, but the brick held well, with only minor damage, but retained insufficient strength to survive a larger twister, on it's way, close at hand.
At best, there was a momentary bit of time for me to pray 'Lord, here we come,' before the second and much stronger twister was about to strike, when a door, in the floor opened, and a young man came up, wondering what was taking place. I called out, 'Tornado,' and he quickly signaled everyone into his basement/storm shelter. He was a nerd, and had the place filled with computer equipment, but with a little shoving, everyone in the group, then about fifty, was able to gain shelter, and the young man shut the door behind us, and smiled. The rending and tearing we heard, convinced us that even the brick walls had failed, and there would be nothing left above. The second twister must have had winds of over 135 mph, but I have only had experience with winds that strong, while at sea, which gives off a completely different set of sounds, compared to buildings being ripped apart.
Huddled together, it seemed that everyone was praying, and a prophetic thought came to mind. 'We had been gathered together, to be saved from the storms.' We didn't discuss that, in my dream, so I may have been the only one to think that. I spent some of the storm time explaining, to the young man, late twenties, early thirties, what little I knew about what happened, and how so many people were in the same place, at the same time, and all finding the well camouflaged building, and my impression of the construction, which wasn't too favorable for the ticky-tacky, but praise for the brick structures, like what his had been, above. The young man stated that his father had built this shelter, and others for just such an occasion, but did not elaborate, as he stated his answer in such a casual state, a person would feel stupid, or think the young man would think so, therefore, I didn't pursue the point, and at that time I woke up, and set pen to paper, to relate this event, as I remembered how realistic the dream/movie had been.
I have deductulated some answers to this conundrum, and believe I see something Prophetic involved.
What say you?? (There was quite a bit more, I drafted, but don't remember well enough to discuss that here, in my final copy, but the general idea, I pray, is understandable.
