Race DONE We WON
Race DONE We WON
By Arley Steinhour 070714
There once was a time, not long ago,
Quake of 'Seven point one,' meant a 'Death blow,'
Today, with buildings that can stand the test,
Reduces fatalities, so most can now rest.
Now, when struck, and family up-rooted,
It's taken in stride, like Computer re-booted,
We still may 'lose files,' in reboot, upload,
Once tagged as 'Tragedy,' now, 'Bump in the Road.'
No matter the warning, God gives to man,
Few, if any recognize, what 'hit the Fan,'
Soon, it may be 'Eight,' or 'Nine,' gets attention,
Or a 'Ten,' from which gets noted dimension.
Volcano's galore, rumble and spout,
More and more, people they rout,
Lives saved by technology, and a 'Head-start,'
Delays Man's acceptance, of 'How Great Thou-Art.
Stones, from the sky, no longer 'fly-by,'
But, crash, and destroy, that many will cry,
Those rejecting God, will 'Curse Him, by now,
Without recognizing that they 'Pull that plow.'
'Time of the Gentile,' soon, comes to an end,
Today, or tomorrow, or just around the 'bend,'
We know Era's ending, of 'Salvation by Grace,'
By 'Faith and Works,' can one, again, 'Win the Race.'
Our Choice.
AMEN
