2024 Bobby Mills 1000 Yard Club - 49th Edition

Stanton high school RBs Barrett Wilke (L) and Becker Pohlman (R) both eclipsed the 5000 Yard Career Rushing Mark this season.

*94 Nebraska high school running backs eclipsed the 1000 yard rushing mark in 2024. Fifty nine were seniors, there were 23 juniors and 12 were sophomores.

*Seven schools had a pair of thousand yard rushers in their backfield. They were; Stanton, Wood River, Central Valley, Scottsbluff, Lyons, Decatur, Syracuse and Sidney.

*A record FIVE running backs reached the 5000 yard career rushing mark this season. Barrett Wilke (6,171) AND Becker Pohlman (5,047) of Stanton hit the mark this season, a first in history the two teammates have achieved this feat the same year. Quinn Bailey of Chadron (6,164), Conor Booth of Wahoo Neumann (6,093), and Kyle Cox of Sandhills Thedford (5,778) also reached the mark.
