That vaults Bailey's career rushing total to 5,196 yards, placing him 43rd on that list of 61 Five Thousand Yard Career Rushers.
*Conor Booth-Bishop Neumann - The Bishop Neumann senior star absolutely exploded in the Cavaliers 53-6 over a good Malcolm team. Booth cut loose for a massive 377 yards on 26 carries and EIGHT touchdowns, which ties a Class C-2 State Record. This also swells Conor’s career rushing total to 4,706 yards, just 294 yards short of the coveted 5000 Yard mark.
*1000 Yard Rusher Alert*
*Beau Rohrich-Wood River - Beau ran for 215 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns in a 61-16 win over Fillmore Central. That explosion raised his season total to 1,128 yards. This season Rohrich has averaged 9.6 yards per carry and 188 yards rushing per game. The Eagles senior also has SIX straight 100 yard plus rushing games with one 200+ and one 300+ outing.
***Crazy Statline - First Half of the 2024 Season.***
*JJ Schaefer-Hastings St. Cecilia - Through five games, the Bluehawks were 0-5 with only 9 touchdowns scored. One man, JJ Schaefer, was a shining bright spot during this string of 5 losses. Check this out.
The senior caught just 13 passes, but amassed 546 yards on those 13 receptions (42 yards per catch!) with SEVEN of those resulting in touchdowns! Top that one. Nice job JJ!
*Noah Bordovsky, Kip Brigham, Warrior “D” - Wahoo - In a 55-0 win over Elkhorn Mt. Michael; Noah Bordovsky raced for 171 yards on 17 carries with 2 TDs. Kip Brigham also topped the 100 yard rushing mark with 121 yards on just 6 carries and a pair of scoring runs covering 7 and 73 yards, and that stout Wahoo defense pitched their 3rd straight shutout and 4th of the season.
*Grayson Sack, Jack Alberts, Thomas Schneider, Connor Haney, Braylon Wolfe-GICC - The 5-1 Crusaders had several stars in their heart-thumping 31-28 win over a vastly improving Ord team. *Zion Rush, Pierce Mooberry-Millard North - Never thought I'd live to see the day to post a Millard North passing statline in Friday Night Lights Football Heroes but here it is. This took place in the Mustangs 55-28 win over Lincoln East. Quarterback Zion Rush completed 18 of 27 passes for 310 yards and 4 touchdowns. Nebraska football commit Pierce Mooberry caught eight of those for 197 yards, including an electrifying 84 yard touchdown catch. He also had 7 tackles and a sack on defense.

Schmid also ran for a touchdown in the win.
*Cesar Cano-Lexington and Trini Trejo-Alliance - Sometimes there are sparkling diamonds hidden in 1-4 or 0-5 football teams. Such was the case last Friday when 1-4 Alliance took on 0-5 Lexington. The Minutemen were able to secure their first victory of the season over the Bulldogs 34-18, but there were a couple of outstanding running back performances in this contest.
Lexington RB Caesar Cano rushed 21 times for 286 yards and three touchdowns. He also made 12 tackles on defense. On the other side of the ball, TriniTrejo of Alliance bolted for 150 yards on 30 carries and 2 touchdowns. You think these guys can't play football? For the season Trejo has rushed for 839 yards, Cano has gone off for 777 big ones in SIX games.

*Ethan Latta, Dante Horner, August Shaw, Lane Bybee, Breck Horner, Brock Bailey-Dundy County/Stratton - One week after suffering their first loss against Arapahoe, Dundy County Stratton bounced back to take down previously undefeated North Platte St. Pats, 42-21.
