Nebraska High School Football’s Returning 1000 Yard Rushers for 2018.
Here is a list of Nebraska prep running backs who rushed for over a 1000 yards a year ago. There are 39 in all, and in this elite group are a handful of elite runners who could eclipse the coveted 5000 yard career rushing mark in 2018.
Class A is especially rich in backfield talent, some of which already have secured Division One offers.
In the coming days, we’ll tell you a little about many of these backs based on either seeing them play live or on film. There will be no rankings or ratings for the simple reason I never rank young men in any high school sport. Could never see the game that way. I’ll leave that to the recruiting experts, although a D1 prospect is not that difficult to spot after 50 years of watching Nebraska high school football.
