2017 Bobby Mills 1000 Yard Club - 43rd Version

Moses Bryant of Elkhorn South (white uniform with football) is only the 4th player in Nebraska prep football history to rush for over a thousand yards four times.

*There were 97 prep backs that surpassed the thousand yard rushing mark in 2017.

*57 seniors, 32 juniors and 8 sophomores reached are included in the 43rd version of the

Bobby Mills 1000 Yard Club.

*Moses Bryant became only the 4th back in history to rush for a 1000 yards all four years in high school, and only the second ever 11-Man player to accomplish the rare feat.

*Jacob Johnson of Fairbury, Dylan Kautz of Norfolk Catholic and 6-Man player AJ Jenkins of Wilcox-Hildreth are 3 time thousand yard runners. Kautz and Jenkins are just juniors.

*Four running back surpassed the 5,000 yard career rushing mark in 2017. Quinten Moles of Bloomfield (5,911 yards), Moses Bryant-Elkhorn South (5,454), Milton Sargbah-Omaha North (5,087) and Alex Horky of Twin Loup (5,073) are included in the exclusive club that includes only 44 backs that have reached the coveted mark in Nebraska prep football history.

*Seven schools had two 1000 yard rushers. Omaha North, York, Boone Central/Newman Grove, Blue Hill, Creighton, Garden County and Perkins County all boasted a pair of thousand yard runners.
