**East Butler was pre-season No.1 in Class D-1 and features 2 time All-State LB, Trevor Havlovic and All-State QB candidate, Dalton Bohac. South Loup won the Class D Track title last May with their two sprint relays. Leighton Bubak, Blake Schwarz, Landon Furne, and Blake Brown were on the 400 Meter Relay that placed third, and Schwarz, Brown, Furne and Kalen Dockweiler comprised the winning 1,600 Meter Relay quartet.

Track speed transfers to the football field, folks, especially 400 meter speed.
