Nebraska Prep Football Rushing Leaders

Millard North's Clay Fisher (Blue) rushed 53 times for 328 yards last Friday against Bellevue West.

This week's rushing leaders are led by two Class A running backs. Omaha North's Calvin Strong is running at a 240 yards per game clip and with 2 regular season games remaining, he should surpass the 2000 yard mark before the playoffs begin. And how about Drew Klein? All the Papillion La Vista South standout has done the past two week is run for 323 and 322 yards respectively. At that pace Klein could also be over 2000 when the regular season closes. We have tracked 45 backs this week and of that total, 25 come from the 11-Man ranks.
