NFL Rankings Week 7 2017-2018
Kansas City was they last unbeaten two weeks ago, now there is no telling when they will win again. Philadelphia now becomes the team to beat in the league as Carson Wentz appears to be the real deal. The New York football Giants go back to their losing ways and San Francisco and Cleveland appear as they may not pick up a win this season.
Rankings
1. Philadelphia Eagles (6-1)
The Eagles easily dispatched Washington 34-24. The game was not as close as the score indicates and with their next game against the 49ers expect the Eagles to roost in the top spot for some time. I said last week that I would not be surprised if Washington went into Philadelphia and stole a win, well the Eagles were having none of that. Last week: Defeated Washington 34-24
Up next: at home against the 49ers
2. Los Angeles Rams (5-2)
The Rams are very much looking like a top playoff contender this year. Their offense has finally come around to playing at the level of their defense. They easily dispatched the Cardinals (in a game of teams formerly from St. Louis) and they have the Giants up next after a bye week, so theoretically they should continue on their winning ways. Last week: Defeated Arizona 33-0
Up next: Bye
3. Minnesota Vikings (5-2)
The Vikings have been on a roll since their loss to the Lions and they appear to just now picking up speed. They have the Browns next so continue the wins to keep coming. After the Browns, though, they face Washington and the Rams back-to-back and that could challenge them. I am also glad that no one apparently noticed that I had the Vikings playing the Vikings in my last blog. Oopsies. Last week: Defeated Baltimore 24-16
Up next: at home against the Browns
4. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2)
The Steelers went up against the Bengals this week so a win was never really in doubt. Their next three games look very winnable so it is entirely possible that the top 4 may remain unchanged for the next couple of weeks. Last week: Defeated Cincinnati 29-14
Up next: at the Lions
5. Seattle Seahawks (4-2) Last week: defeated the Giants 24-7; up next: at home against the Texans

19. Denver Broncos (3-3) Last week: lost to Los Angeles Chargers 21-0; up next: at the Chiefs (Monday 10/30)
20. Chicago Bears (3-4) Last week: lost to Carolina 17-3; up next: at the Saints
21. Los Angeles Chargers (3-4) Last week: defeated to Denver 21-0; up next: at the Patriots
22. Oakland Raiders (3-4) Last week: defeated Kansas City 31-30; up next: at the Bills
23. Arizona Cardinals (3-4) Last week: lost to Los Angeles Rams 33-0; up next: Bye
24. Detroit Lions (3-3) Last week: Bye; up next: at home against the Steelers
25. New York Jets (3-4) Last week: lost to Miami 31-28; up next: at home against the Falcons

28. Cincinnati Bengals (2-4) Last week: lost to Pittsburgh 29-14; at home against the Colts
Bottom Four
29. Indianapolis Colts (2-5)
The Colts continue to worsen with every game. This past week they failed to even score a point against the Jaguars. I am not entirely sure how they were even able to win two games in this season and at this rate they will be lucky to win two more games, unless they manage to get Andrew Luck back, but at this time there is still no time table. Last week: lost to Jacksonville 27-0
Up next: at the Bengals
30. New York Giants (1-6)
As was expected, the Giants fell back to their losing ways against the Seahawks. What was a bit surprising was how meager the offense looked in this game. They do not have a great offense with all of the injuries but losing at home in this manner was a surprise. Last week: lost to Seattle 24-7
Up next: Bye
31. San Francisco 49ers (0-7)
I am sure people were hoping for an upset win for the 49ers over the Cowboys. After all, for most the season the 49ers have been within one possession of getting a win. Who better for the 49ers to pick up their first win of the season than against the Cowboys? These two teams. from the 80s to 00s, always had great battles in the playoffs. The Cowboys had other ideas in mind and the 49ers are now 0-7. Last week: lost to Dallas 40-10
Up next: at the Eagles
32. Cleveland Browns (0-7)
What else is there to say about the Browns. This is an awful team that is not going to get any better. They could fall into a win, but they are more likely to go winless on the season. They had a chance to beat the Titans this week but just could not pull out the win. Last week: lost to Tennessee 12-9 (OT)
Up next: at home against the Vikings
