Big Brother Week 9 Recap and Updates
I was out of town last week and have not watched the feeds this week. However, I am still able to update.
Last week Victor was evicted by a 2-1 vote. The next competition was an endurance comp not only involving the players still in the house but between the five juror members. Whoever the last juror is that is remaining regains entry into the house and if they happen to be the last person still on the wall they also win HOH. That did not happen but Victor, for the second time this season, was able to get back into the house. In order for the jury members; Da'Vonne and Zakiyah apparently quit and just hopped off, next off was Bridgette, and then Paulie.
Nicole (in a huge surprise) was able to outlast James to become Head of Household.
She nominated Michelle and Paul with the target being Michelle (unknown to her).
All but Natalie participated in the Power of Veto which was won by Nicole, which she did not use. Corey won (somehow, I highly question the voting) the bribe and gave Victor $5,000 to vote Michelle out. Wasted bribe as there is no reason for Victor to suddenly turn on Paul. The bribe should have gone to James or Natalie.
HOH: Nicole
Noms: Michelle and Paul
POV: Nicole and she did not use.
RANKINGS
7. Michelle: Her long running wallflower season final comes to an end. I never expected her to last this long as no one in the house really likes her.
6. Paul: He is on the block so he is low man on the totem this week. He has never really been very good at playing both sides of the house but his personality has kept him in the game a lot longer than it should.
5. Corey: The other wall flower in the house he happened to hitch his wagon to Corey and Nicole and it has hid the fact that he is really a horrible player. He has won ONE HOH and that was because everyone else was wrong and two POVs. That's it. By comparison, Victor (who has been evicted twice) has won two HOHs and one POV.
4. Natalie: She has played a really good social game and on top of that completely blew up Paulie's game when she exposed him for the sexist that he is. Being involved with James definitely helps.
3. Victor: Victor is the first player in game history to be evicted twice and get back in twice. He wins when he needs to win. He was safe this week (outside of winning his way back into the game) so he just chilled.
2. Nicole: She won HOH this week so she is near the top this week. Her social game has been a wreck and she has continually hitched her wagon to the wrong people (Frank, Da'Vonne, Paulie). She has dragged Corey through the game so she gets some bonus points for that.
1. James: James has played a nearly perfect game all season. If he makes the final two there is no reason to think that he will not win the game.
