Big Brother Week 7 Recaps and Updates
Paulie has been in control of the house for most of the season. It was originally Frank but after Da flipped the house on him, Paulie took over and since that point every player that has been voted out has been because of Paulie. This week could change all of that as Natalie (of all people) has started an insurrection in the house, but more on that later.
After Da's eviction the houseguests begin the next HOH competition to decide the next HOH. It was an endurance comp which actually set up for Natalie fairly well. However she finished second as Victor never even appeared to struggle throughout the competition.
Bridgette, Corey (again), and James were the first three eliminated so they are the Have Nots for the week.
At Paulie and Paul's (PP - that is their actual nickname for each other) suggestion, Victor put up Zakiyah and Michelle (the two weakest players and the two remaining mean girls) with Zakiyah being the target.
That all changed when Michelle (not able to stomach meanness thrown her way) had a breakdown and threw Paulie's name out as someone who should be on the block. This naturally made Paulie angry and she became his new target. He is a very emotional player as the main reason Zakiyah was up for him was because he was tired of her drama. The house naturally went along with this.
James won the second care package of the season which was socks, underwear, and the ability to eliminate two voters for the upcoming eviction.
At the POV competition the players were Victor, Michelle, Zakiyah, Paulie, James, and Nicole. The aim of the game was for each player to hide their POV card somewhere in the house and the rest of the players had to find the cards. Last year James played this game as well and trashed the house, this year was no different and it irked many of the house guests. At the end the only card not found was Paulie's and he won the POV.
He had promised Zakiyah that if won the Veto he would take her off the block. He lied and took no one off the block.
This is when the insurrection began. Natalie got word that Paulie had been telling Zakiyah that Natalie had been openly flirting with him, which of course was not true and she went ballistic. At some point Michelle pointed out that everyone in the house always did what Paulie wanted them to do, so Natalie went to James and Bridgette with the plan to go against Paulie and keep Michelle.
As of now they have the numbers to evict Zakiyah and James will likely eliminate Paul and Corey leaving just Nicole and Paulie as Zakiyah voters. The last I saw Nicole and Corey had no idea of the plan.
So we shall see if that plan comes to fruition tonight. Plus tonight is a double eviction. The will evict either Michelle or Zakiyah and then do a whole week of shows in one night and have a second eviction to end the show. Should make for a good night.
RECAP
HOH: Victor
Nominees: Michelle and Zakiyah
POV: Paulie (did not use)
Have-Nots: Bridgette, James, Corey
Rankings
10. Zakiyah - She has been the weakest player from day one, never really competing in any of the comps and happy just to tag along with Da and Paulie. She has stated several times she did not come to play a game only to get noticed by a modeling agency.
9. Michelle - The main mean girl, this week when she has not been talking trash about the rest of the house she has been crying because Victor was mean to her, ironically. She will only be safe this week because of the looming insurrection.
8. Paulie - If the insurrection works tonight this very well could be the end of his game and they are planning to attempt a backdoor during the double eviction. He got too comfortable to high on power. The only way this backfires is if he is told soon enough that he can change people's minds. The danger is of either Paul, Victor, or James telling him. I doubt Victor does as he is only loyal to Paul. Paul may but he has been pretty sharp this season always knowing which was the wind is blowing. I suspect James may do it because he has been the only one openly questioning the plan.
7. Nicole - She continues to hurt her own game by always being on the wrong side of the house. She wanted to work with Frank and when the house went against him she was unaware. Again she finds herself unaware of the plan (though she might have been given a small heads up last night).
6. Corey - Corey is Corey sticking to Nicole's coattails all season, He could actually make it to the end as someone's insurance as a way to win the game.
5. Paul - Has pretty much laid low all week except to really want to get Zakiyah out. With the insurrection, his original plan is back on track. Again, he always seems to know which way the wind is blowing in the house and attaches himself to it. If he can convince James to eliminate his vote, Paulie will never know that he was on board with the plan to undermine him.
4. Bridgette - She has done most of the leg work on Natalie's plan of insurrection simply because she is in better with some of the main players (Victor and Paul). She was the second largest target for two weeks and has now successfully gone back under the radar.
3. Natalie - She gets a huge boost for the plan - if it works. This has been the best plan all season and could potentially be one of the biggest game changes in the last few season. Do not piss off a Jersey Girl.
2. Victor - His main target was actually Zakiyah and he fought Paulie pretty hard on it. So for this to completely come back to what he actually wanted and to undermine the biggest player in the house is just a cherry on top of dessert.
1. James - He is doing okay right now. He is, though, playing way to safe and over questioning game moves. He almost inadvertently saved Frank's game once because he was not convinced of what he was being told. He could do that again this week for Paulie. Some of the house guests are getting tired of the safe way he has been playing and have voiced that the next target should be him.
DOUBLE EVICTION UPDATE
Wow what a night. So we had the double eviction. Paulie's game was exposed tonight, unfortunately he still completely controls the house and everyone sadly seems perfectly okay with it.
EVICTION
As expected James eliminated Paul and Corey from voting and Zakiyah was evicted 3-2 (Natalie, James, Bridgette to evict Z; Paulie and Nicole to evict Michelle)
Zakiyah did not have the round trip pass.
HOH
In a short match (2 rounds) Corey was named HOH and he nominated Michelle and Bridgette.
POV
Corey, Michelle, Bridgette, James, Nicole, and Natalie (I think) played for the Veto but Corey won and did not change the nominations.
EVICTION
At this point, I and probably most of the people watching expected the target to be Michelle. She did to apparently and told everyone that Nicole was a snake and not to be trusted. She also said that Nicole had tried to make a deal with her before the HOH (do not know if it is true and at this point it does not matter).
Bridgette was evicted 5-1 with the sole vote to keep her being Natalie. Now here is why I think that Paulie still has control over the house. Bridgette is a bigger threat to him than Michelle and after Michelle absolutely trashed Nicole, one would think she would vote to send her out. However, she still voted to send Bridgette out in order to stay on Paulie's good side.
I am not sure when HOH will be played but I hope it is on the feeds like last week.
