Big Brother Week 6 Recap and Update
Now that I am back to the swing of things and fully back to watching the Big Brother feeds this week did have some suspense even with Frank gone on mostly lies by Da'Vonne, but it appears her stay in the house may be over.
The feeds have been shut down for the rest of the day so we will not fully find out who is going home until tonight's show. It should be Da but things can and have changed on eviction day.
A few changes in the show to note: Roadkill is done for the season. This was one of my favorites during the season and I was sad to see it go. Each week fans have a chance to send a houseguest a care package (think Hunger Games without the killing). This past week America sent Natalie a Never Not pass which means as long as she is on the show she will not be assigned to be a Have Not. Many of the house guests (especially Corey) were unhappy that Natalie got it.
Voting is open until Friday for the next package which will allow the houseguest that gets it a chance to eliminate two votes of his/her choice. That could potentially save them from being evicted or flip the house.
Though it happened while I was in Nebraska, apparently a game was played in the house and someone was awarded the opportunity to go back in the house if evicted. Frank was the first evicted after this happened but he did not have the card.
Many of the houseguests believe that this week is a double eviction. CBS has not teased one so I am inclined to not believe it is happening this week.
RECAP OF THE WEEK
Paul won HOH. He wants Da'Vonne out but doesn't want to give her an automatic chance of playing for the Veto. He puts up two pawns, Bridgette and Paulie. Paulie is on board, but Bridgette does not trust anyone in the house at this point and believes that she is the actual target.
Paul, Paulie, Bridgette, Corey, Victor, and Natalie were selected to play in the POV competition.
Paulie won and took himself off the block. Paul replaced him with Da'Vonne and even told her that she was the target this week.
Bridgette is still not convinced and believes she is being evicted. I can not really fault or blame her for this but it seems set that Da'Vonne is leaving. In fact, at this point Zakiyah may be her only vote to stay. We will see.
HOH: Paul
Nominees: Bridgette and Paulie
POV: Paulie won Veto and took himself off the block
Replacement: Paul put up Da'Vonne as replacement
RANKINGS:
11. Da'Vonne - Da said upon entering the house a second time that she would not play how she played last year. She quickly abandoned that. She pounced on Frank for slapping her ass and then began telling lie after lie about Frank. It worked getting him booted last week, but the house tired of it quickly plus word go around that she was plotting against most of the house.
10. Zakiyah - She really only seems to be in the house to be noticed. She actually had to play the game this week and was out of her element. Paulie has even said that if he wins the next HOH he would target her.
9. Michelle - Mean girl Michelle. She is still walking around the house trashing every single person in the house but the core group of mean girls has dissolved to just her. The housemates have taken notice and are getting tired of her mean streaks and do not really believe any of her crying.
8. Victor - Victor thinks he is safe and playing as if he is safe not really putting any effort into game playing. Any feeds that he is in is hard to watch due mostly to his fake laughter. If a girl wins HOH expect him to be one of the targets
7. Bridgette - She gets a pass this week as the target seems to be Da. Unfortunately for her she has the stink of being allied to Frank. She is alone in the game at this point but is better situated than the players below her.
6. Nicole - I am not really sure what to think about Nicole at this point. She can not seems to pick a target and stay on them or pick an ally (outside of Corey) and stick with them. However, the only person that really seems to want her out right now is Da'Vonne and she should be out the door tonight.
5. Corey - He continues to be near the top with not semblance of a target on him, he gets extra props for carrying a veteran through the show with him.
4. Natalie - She is an extremely weak player but she attached herself to the best player in the house (James). As long as they are good expect her to stay for quite some time.
3. Paulie - As much as I do not care for Paulie (all he wants to talk about is his brother's season) he has pretty much controlled the house from the beginning of the show. This week he was essentially a co-HOH.
2. Paul - Despite his early setback of setting up camp with Victor and Jozea he has recovered nicely and managed to win HOH. His Plan seems to be fully intact to get Da out of the house but if Paulie has a change of heart Bridgette is out the door and Da puts a big target on Paul's back.
1. James - No one is playing as smooth a game as James. While every other houseguest has at least been mentioned once as a target, James has not. He has flown under the radar all season and has let other players get "blood on their hands" while he sits back and enjoys. I do think at some point in the near future is going to need to win an HOH, though.
Eviction
Da'Vonne was evicted 6-2 with the two other mean girls (Michelle and Zakiyah) her only votes to stay. She threw a lot of shade at Nicole believing that she was behind it not knowing that Nicole had nothing to do with it.
She also did not have the round trip ticket and is the first person in the Jury house.
Have-Nots
James, Bridgette, and Corey were the first three off and therefor are Have-Nots for the week. I'm not sure that Corey has been anything but a Have-Not for a month or more.
Next week is a double-eviction.
HOH
Just past the two hour mark Natalie finally dropped off, making Victor the HOH.
Nominations
The remaining mean girls Michelle and Zakiyah are on the block. It was orchestrated by PP (Paulie and Paul). Paul wants Michelle gone and Paulie wants Zakiyah gone.
James won the care package which means he gets to remove two voters from the next live eviction.
Veto Comp
Paulie has won the Veto. Unless there is a backdoor in play I do not expect him to use the POV.
POV Meeting
Paulie did not use the Veto. Not sure who the target is at this point. Paulie had said last week he wanted Zakiyah out because he did not like the drama. However, Michelle is the meanest spirited person in the house and it is beginning to wear on people. Watching the feeds, Zakiyah is sequestered but Michelle is being social.
