Big Brother Week 2 Recap and Update
In the official second week of Big Brother a lot of changes have taken place. Tiffany somehow managed to go from completely under the radar to someone with a target placed squarely on her back. Essentially what caused this was Victor won the Roadkill challenge and put her on the block and she got super paranoid and was convinced that the 8-pack were going to evict. This was never their plan but with her actions it almost became the plan.
8-Pack is essentially done because of a huge misunderstanding. With Tiffany's antics Frank wanted to kick her out and bring Paulie into the group which Corey and Nicole agreed to. When Nicole reported this info to Fatal 5 (minus Tiffany) Mama Da blew a gasket and wanted the group to focus on getting Frank out next week.
Fatal 5 also became Fatal 4 with Tiffany out. More on that in a minute
HOH
The battle for HOH was once again in teams. Category 4 won the competition and elected to have Paulie become HOH. There was some controversy as James purposefully threw the competition and his team pretty much knew it. Frank, the leader of Cat 4, had the chance to win HOH but wanted to play puppet master instead.
Category 4 is safe from elimination.
Frank, Paulie, and Corey solidified their final three pact but listening to Paulie and Corey it sounds like they are absolutely fine if Frank is out of the game next week. They may just be playing the girls but we shall find out.
NOMINATIONS
Paulie wants to get Victor out but doesn't know if he wants to do it normally or backdoor him. After talking with Paul and Paul agreeing to go up as a pawn it became obvious that Paulie would be attempting the backdoor on Victor.
Paulie nominated Paul and Bronte.
ROADKILL
Victor won Roadkill but instead of keeping it quiet he immediately told Paulie. He also told Paul who immediately told him not to tell anyone else (too late). Victor considered putting up James but Paulie convinced him to put someone else up.
ROADKILL NOMINATION
Victor put up Tiffany. This is when Tiffany went into panic mode asking everyone whether she was going to be voted out. Everyone assured her that Victor was the target but she wasn't convinced.
POV
The POV competition was a spelling contest (it's the one game that is played every single year. Paulie won the POV. During the competition Mama Da caught Tiffany counting her words, which naturally pissed Da'Vonne off. She immediately kicked (though not officially) Tiffany out of Fatal 5 and wants to get her out this week.
This was a huge issue for Da'Vonne last year of taking on way too much and putting targets on her back. She currently wants to go against the house this week and get Tiffany out and then get Frank out next week.
POV CEREMONY
Paulie took Paul off the block and put Victor in his place.
As of right now the plan is still to vote Victor out. It would be foolish for the Fatale Four to vote out Tiffany because as of yesterday they didn't have to the votes. They would need two more houseguests to vote with them to get Tiffany out. So I would expect an overwhelming vote for Victor to leave.
RECAP
HOH: Category 4 won with Paulie becoming HOH. Category 4 is safe for the week.
BLOCK: Paul and Bronte nominated.
ROADKILL: Victor won and nominated Tiffany.
POV: Paulie won and took Paul off the block and nominated Victor.
BLOCK: Victor, Bronte, and Tiffany. The only person completely safe is Bronte.
RANKINGS
14. Victor ↓- He put a target on his back by publicly stating that he wanted Paulie out last week.
13. Tiffany ↓- Oh how a week can change a person's standing. Tiffany was 11th last week and had moved up to 7th early this week before losing her self and putting a target on her back.
12. Bronte ↓- She is here simply because she is on the block. She has not done anything this week to go up.
11. Paul ↑- Paul helped himself out this week but agreeing to be a pawn, but he is still a target and one of the top targets.
10. Michelle ↓ - She has been an effective wallflower this season getting absolutely no attention on herself, but typically wallflowers are outed pretty quick and are out of the house.
9. Bridgette ↓ - She has attempted to distinguish herself but a lot of the people watching the show are calling her the BB18 Meg. That will get her through a few weeks but not much more than that.
8. Zakiyah ↑ - She made the most movement by finally getting in the game. She is in two strong alliances and is safe for the time being.
7. Natalie ↑ - She aligned herself with James (potential for a showmance) and has been effectively saved fro the time being.
6. Da'Vonne ↓ - Last season Mama Da is showing up and it could hurt her. She is the only one of the Veterans not in the top five.
5. Nicole ↓ - She drops because she has no power this week and sadly did a lot of whining this week. Plus she stirred up an unneeded drama about Frank.
4. Corey ↑ - He benefited from the poor play of Da and Nicole.
3. Paulie ↑ - He is Head of Household this week so he gets into the top 3. He has played this week great and got his target on the block.
2. James ↔ - James is being James, nothing new.
1. Frank ↔ - Though Da has put a target on Frank these last two weeks have been his.
EVICTION:
Frank - Victor
James - Victor
Da'Vonne - Victor
Corey - Victor
Michelle - Victor
Zakiya - Victor
Nicole - Victor
Bridgette - Victor
Natalie - Victor
Paul - Bronte
By a vote of 9-1-0 (Tiffany received no eviction votes) Victor was evicted from the house.
HOH:
All of the Head of Household comp occurred on television again in teams. Bridgette beat out Paul to become HOH and Category 4 (Frank, Michelle, Paulie) are safe for a second straight week.
I know that Da'Vonne had designs of getting Frank out this week with Roadkill but I believe that plan is now gone.
NOMINATIONS:
Bridgette put up Paul and Tiffany. Tiffany is the target and Paul is a pawn. He is quickly becoming the Johnny Mac of this season. Also today will be the Roadkill competition and nomination.
ROADKILL AND NOMINATION:
Frank won Roadkill once again and nominated Bronte. I am not sure if this was a singular move by him or if Bronte is another pawn in order to get Tiffany out.
POV:
Bridgette won the POV. She has stated that if she won she would take Bronte off the block. She also apparently rolled her ankle during the competition, but it isn't serious.
POV MEETING:
Bridgette had promised Bronte that if she won POV she would take her down. Bronte then became extremely paranoid that if she went down Natalie would go up in her place and go home.
She was partly right as Natalie had learned that Frank was Roadkill and was going to put up Natalie to ensure Tiffany going home. Natalie did not tell Bronte that Frank was Roadkill but knew she would be put up.
Bronte's paranoia won over and Bridgette did not take her down.
VOTING UPDATE:
There is active discussion to send Bronte home this week in an attempt to throw off Frank's game. This is based on some of the house mates believing that Frank voted to send Bronte home last week. Paul is aware of this theory and is feeding the lie knowing that he is the one that voted for Bronte.
If it works it is a great move on Paul's part, if it doesn't it will put a huge target on his back. It's nice to see one of the newbies actually playing the game.
